Since 2021, Inovacomm has been measuring the carbon footprint of its operations, particularly that associated with bespoke products. This approach enables us to better understand our impact and take targeted action, particularly on the factors we can control.
For each project, several factors are taken into account: the weight of the product, the nature of the materials used, and the modes of transport employed (air, sea, rail, etc.). This data enables us to estimate the carbon footprint associated with each production run.
But beyond measurement, our aim is to take concrete action.
The contributions resulting from this assessment are reinvested in supporting local, socially responsible initiatives that align with our values. We prioritise projects with a direct impact, rooted in the Swiss economy, such as those led by organisations like Aalma or Table Suisse, which work respectively towards social inclusion and food redistribution.
This approach allows us to give a tangible dimension to our commitment, by linking each project to a positive, measurable and useful contribution to society.
Thus, offsetting is not an end in itself, but a complementary tool, serving a broader approach aimed at designing ever more responsible branded products.
