FSC

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an environmental label designed to ensure that wood or wood-based products are manufactured following procedures that ensure sustainable forest management. The governance of this label is based on three colleges which, equally (in terms of number of votes), deal with the three issues of environmental, social and economic quality and performance. The FSC is therefore considered both an environmental and social label.
