Recycled POM
Recycled polyoxymethylene (POM), better known as acetal, is a very rigid thermoplastic that is particularly resistant to heat and wear.
Recycled POM has low moisture absorption and excellent machining properties, making it a highly versatile material that can excel in a wide range of applications.
The recycled version has a significantly lower carbon footprint than similar materials made from non-recycled raw materials, as it allows plastic waste to be reused and saves the energy and resources associated with the production of virgin POM.
We use recycled POM in particular for lanyard loops and luggage accessories.
