FCC

The FCC compliance statement, FCC label or FCC marking is a certification used on electronic products manufactured or sold in the United States. It certifies that the electromagnetic interference caused by the device is within the limits approved by the Federal Communications Commission. The FCC label is even found on products sold outside the US, either because they are US-made products that have been exported or because they are also sold in the US. The FCC label is recognised worldwide, even by people who do not know the name of the Federal Communications Commission.

In the past, devices governed by Parts 15 or 18 of the FCC Regulations had to bear the FCC marking, but in November 2017, the label became optional. Devices must always be accompanied by a declaration of conformity from the supplier.
