The substances in question are:

  • lead;
  • mercury;
  • cadmium;
  • hexavalent chromium;
  • polybromobiphenyls (PBB);
  • polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs).

The maximum concentrations of these hazardous substances are 0.1% per unit of weight of homogeneous material, except for cadmium where the limit is 0.01%.
