RCS

The Recycle Claim Standard (RCS) is an international standard that defines requirements throughout the production chain to track recycled raw materials from one end of the supply chain to the other.

It verifies the presence and quantity of a recycled component in a final product. A third-party organization evaluates and verifies traceability, providing transparent, comprehensive and independent verification.

This standard offers companies guaranteed product quality, as well as honest communication with consumers.

There are two types of RCS standard:

1) RCS 100, which guarantees a minimum of 95% recycled materials

2) RCS Blended, which imposes a minimum 5% recycled content.
