Maison & Objet 2025

 Maison & Objet 2025 : 10 trends to watch for 2025/26

As we do every year in January, we headed to Paris for the Maison&Objet show, a not-to-be-missed event for creators and designers from all over the world. The event was an opportunity to discover inspiring innovations and immerse us in the world of trends for 2025. Here is a small selection of the trends that will mark the coming year:

1.        Back to natural materials

Raw and organic materials, such as recycled wood, linen, stone, cotton and leather, have taken centre stage. Consumers are looking for sustainable, authentic products that tell a story.

2.       Maximum minimalism

Minimalism is being reinvented in 2025 with a more sophisticated approach. Clean lines and simple objects are enriched with subtle details and luxurious textures, creating experiences that are soothing yet full of character.

3.       Discreet technology

Technology continues to blend into our environment without being intrusive. Connected objects, such as smart lamps or furniture with built-in functions, are now more elegant and design-led.

4.       Earthy colours and deep hues

Natural colours dominate the palettes of 2025: terracotta tones, browns and deep greens bring warmth and serenity to home interiors and everyday objects. This trend is a tribute to nature and simplicity.

5.       Craftsmanship

Local craftsmanship and production are booming. One-off pieces, handmade with particular attention to detail, are gaining in popularity, offering alternatives to mass-produced goods.

6.       #Cozycore 2.0

Quilting is one of this year's key trends, adding a touch of volume and structure to silhouettes. Used on coats, jackets, scarves, bags and clutches, it combines comfort and elegance, while evoking a sophisticated cocooning spirit. This play on textures, often combined with neutral shades or oversized cuts, lends a contemporary look to everyday pieces. This season, it's daring with pop colours! We love it!

7.       Affordable luxury

Consumers are looking for products that combine top-of-the-range design with affordable prices. This year, the emphasis is on making luxury accessible, with elegant pieces at more affordable prices thanks to ethical and sustainable production.

8.       Eco-design and the circular economy

There is a growing commitment to the environment, with a strong focus on upcycling and the circular economy. Furniture created from recycled materials, eco-designed products and responsible manufacturing processes are at the heart of our proposals.

9.       Evolving objects

In a world where flexibility is paramount, modular and multifunctional objects are gaining ground. They allow space or use to be transformed according to need, creating more adaptable and practical environments.

10.    A fusion of styles

Finally, the blending of cultural, geographical and historical influences is becoming a signature. The mix of styles, from vintage to contemporary, and from contemporary to modern, is becoming increasingly popular.

Maison&Objet 2025 gave us a fascinating insight into where the design industry is heading. More than ever, trends are focused on sustainability, innovation and personalization. A future rich in creativity and environmental awareness awaits us!
