Swiss Triple Impact

We are participating in the Swiss Triple Impact programme implemented by B Lab and supported by the Swiss Confederation. STI’s vision is to create a resilient and sustainable economy through a shared framework: the 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals, set by the UN.

The goal of the programme is to assist companies based in Switzerland to assess their contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), identify the most important areas for improvement and take concrete actions (commitments).

The 17 objectives are defined as follows:

We undertook this programme and its 200-hour workshop to define our objectives and achieve them. In addition to the themed workshops, an online tool is available to help with the process. The SDG Action Manager is a questionnaire that provides a clear picture of our impact with regards to these 17 objectives. It enables us to identify the areas for improvement, define our commitments and share them with the community in order to work together to comply with the 2030 Agenda.

This concerns everyone for we cannot do it alone. Politics, the economy, society and individuals are all concerned because this is not just about increasing one’s turnover. It is about developing and implementing a new sustainable system for everyone in order to live in a dignified and responsible manner while maintaining viable and sustainable economic activity.

“Today’s economy needs to be sustainable or it won’t be at all.”
André Hoffmann, Vice Chairman of Roche Holding Ltd.

For us, participating in the programme was the obvious choice to continuously improve our performance in terms of sustainable development while strengthening our competitiveness. This initiative is part of a global commitment. Full details can be found on our Home page.
